Recognizing – What is still normal – and what isn't? Many people struggling with mental health challenges ask themselves this question. Unlike physical illnesses, the line is often difficult to draw when it comes to psychological symptoms: Am I just stressed or already burned out? Is this sadness or already depression?
Gaining clarity can be unsettling. Many terms circulate on social media, but their true meaning isn't always clear. This section encourages you to take a closer look – without jumping to conclusions, but with an open mind to problems that need addressing. Recognizing that something isn't right isn't a sign of weakness, but rather an important step towards clarity and self-care.

“Your work ≠ your worth”
Your worth does not depend on your performance. This idea challenges the common association of self-worth and productivity – particularly relevant in university studies, where success is often confused with personal "being good enough".

Mental Health Collection

awear

Mental health is a central issue for many students – yet it often remains invisible in everyday university life. At the same time, studies show that young adults in particular have low levels of health literacy. This makes it difficult for them to access support, which therefore often remains unclear or unused.

*awear* operates at the intersection of communication, visibility, and participation. Its goal is to strengthen health literacy in a targeted and accessible way – through the design-oriented approach of a clothing collection that conveys mental health messages into everyday life and opens up spaces for dialogue.

The content should be passed on in two senses: as a stimulus for self-reflection – and as an impetus for others.
