Tips for the perfect print file
Resolution – at least 300 dpi
For crisp, sharp prints, all images should be at least 300 dpi. Low resolution leads to pixelated prints.
The right file format
Logos & text are best as vector files (.ai, .eps, .svg, .pdf) – so they always stay sharp. Photos and gradients as JPG or PNG.
Which color space: RGB or CMYK?
It depends on the print method: for DTG & DTF, supply your file in RGB – that's how we get the most vibrant colors. For screen printing, use CMYK or specific color references (e.g. Pantone). When in doubt, we're happy to advise.
Set the right size
Create the file at the size it will be printed – don't upscale small files, that makes them blurry.
Save it cleanly
Export in the highest quality and embed fonts or convert them to outlines. Color space depends on the method: RGB for DTG/DTF, CMYK / Pantone for screen printing. When in doubt, we'll help you out.
